DecideFrame Privacy Policy

DecideFrame is a decision-comparison tool provided by xpworx. This policy explains how the DecideFrame Android app and online service handle information.

Information we collect

If you create an account, we collect your name and email address and store a securely hashed version of your password. We also create authentication records needed to keep you signed in. DecideFrame does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or device files. The current app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Decision inputs

When you are signed in, the questions, context, options, scores, assumptions, rationale, and other decision content you enter are transmitted to DecideFrame's servers and stored so that you can save and synchronize decisions across devices. When you use guest mode, decision answers remain in app memory and are not uploaded to your account.

How we use information

We use account information to authenticate you, provide the service, protect accounts, and respond to support or privacy requests. We use decision content only to provide the features you request, including saving and synchronizing your decisions.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information or decision content and do not use it for advertising. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that host or secure the service, solely as needed to operate DecideFrame, or disclosed when required by law.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and mobile session tokens are stored using the device's secure storage. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Retention and deletion

Account information and saved decisions are retained while your account remains active. Authentication sessions expire after a limited period, and the app requests server-side revocation when you sign out. You can permanently delete your account and its saved decisions from the app menu. You can also request deletion at our account deletion page. Limited records may be retained when legally required or for security and fraud prevention; any such retention is limited to the applicable purpose.

Children's privacy

DecideFrame is not directed to children under 13, and the current version does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
